Safety warning for 1-layer wood plastic panels

A. Before installing 1-layer wood plastic panel

Flat cover OP148 (GOP148, GOP148VG, G3DOP148, OP148, 3DOP148) wall cladding, ceiling cladding, fence cladding, gate cladding.

4S219 wave cover (G4S219 and K4S219) wall cladding, fence cladding, gate cladding but NO CEILING

It is necessary to ensure drainage capacity for 1-layer wood plastic panels to avoid waterlogging.

Wall/ceiling surfaces must be solid, flat, and free of peeling or cracking.

Installation areas that often receive direct sunlight, use plain, striped or 3D wood grain panels instead of 2D printed panels

Wall cladding construction size: Wall width ≤6m and wall height ≤3m

Horizontal ceiling installation dimensions: Ceiling width (depth) ≤6m, ceiling width ≤3m

Vertical ceiling installation dimensions: Ceiling width ≤6m, ceiling width (depth) ≤3m

If the size of the structure exceeds the above limits, Kosmos recommends Switch to using 2-layer ASA-coated wood plastic panels
B. During construction of 1-layer wood plastic panel
Skeleton Warning

Material by bar Stainless steel or galvanized steel size ≥25x25mm and thickness ≥1.2mm

Distance between bone bars ≤25cm (250mm)

The distance between the two double ribs is 5 mm

The frame needs to leave a gap from the wall/ceiling 7 - 10mm

Vertical panels with horizontal bars and horizontal panels with vertical bars

Ceiling tiles skeleton has degree tilt slightly outwards from 2 – 3%

Required distance between OP148 wood plastic ceiling and poly, glass, and corrugated iron roof from 30 – 50cm

Between the wood plastic ceiling and the poly, glass, and corrugated iron roof, It is necessary to install an additional layer of insulation material. (eg: silver foam 5mm or more, corrugated iron, plastic foam)

The welds need to be polished and painted with anti-rust paint
Warning about 1-layer wood plastic panels

Screw stainless steel screws into the negative groove of the panel, not into the positive groove.

The first fluted panel 4S219 needs to be screwed in the gap near the male groove.

The distance between the 2 panels right at the double rib is 5 mm

Panels are about 7 - 10mm from walls and ceilings.
Warning about V-shaped strips covering single-layer wood plastic panels and frames

When covering the edges of the panel with wood-plastic V-shaped strips, at right angle positions, the V-shaped strips need to be cut according to 45° angle

Use glue and stainless steel screws with umbrella head and tail to fix the V-shaped strip onto the 1-layer wood-plastic panel and frame.

Use glue and nail gun with copper nails to fix the V-shaped strip onto the 1-layer wood plastic panel and frame.
Warning about copper screws and nails

Always pre-drill before screwing stainless steel.

Material: 304 stainless steel screw

The distance between screw holes when shooting on the panel is equal to the distance between the ribs ≤25cm

Distance between screw holes when fixing V-shaped strip to 1-layer wood-plastic panel ≤35cm

Distance between nail holes when fixing V-shaped strip to 1-layer wood-plastic panel ≤10cm
C. After installing 1 layer of wood plastic panel

For fresh stains, use a mild detergent (pH 5 – 8)

For stubborn, old stains, you can use products such as alcohol, kerosene, white wine or bleach diluted to five percent (5%).

Do not use sharp objects to clean stains on wood plastic surfaces.

Periodically every 3-6 months, check if the screws are loose or the frame is rusty. If so, notify the contractor.
