SAFETY WARNING FOR KOSMOS SPC FLOORING
1 BEFORE CONSTRUCTION OF KOSMOS SPC PLASTIC
Can be laid on cement floors, tile floors. Do not overlap with other wooden floors.
Ensure the surface is flat, with a difference of ≤2mm/1m.
Check to ensure the substrate is clean before assembly.
Make sure not to install heavy equipment on the floor such as kitchen cabinets.
2 DURING KOSMOS SPC PLASTIC CONSTRUCTION
Brick floors and weak walls do not require nails when fixing accessories.
Surface mounted with locking groove, no glue used.
Do not nail or screw the floor.
Remove old flooring before installation.
Floor foam thickness 1 – 2mm in case of 1,5mm thick locking groove.
Width of wall bar ≥ 50mm.
Should be staggered at least 20cm.
Use T-strap to cut off floor at door.
Use sieve breakers when size ≥ 7x7m.
Leave space for furniture legs.
The groove is facing the wall.
Check the wood floor carefully for defects.
Leave a gap of 12 – 15mm between the floor and the wall.
Leave a gap of 10 – 15mm from the base of the door.
Floors without rubber soles must be covered with foam.
Glue the foam panels together to avoid stacking.
Use extra padding when tapping the edge of the floor with a hammer, or use a rubber mallet.
3 AFTER CONSTRUCTION OF KOSMOS SPC PLASTIC
Use doormats.
Carpets in commercial areas ≥2x2m.
Do not drag heavy objects across the floor.
Use chair foot pads.
Use a swivel chair with soft wheels.
Clean up immediately after spilling water.
Vacuum regularly.
Use a diluted cleaning solution, pH 6-8, for cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean.
Do not use a towel that is too damp or not wrung dry for cleaning.
Do not use concentrated detergent for cleaning.
Steam mop can be used for cleaning.
Avoid exposure to heat sources >50°C.
Do not arbitrarily remove and install vinyl flooring elsewhere.
