Policy Kosmos Laminate flooring warranty provide full information such as: Instructions for use, notes on installation, cases where the warranty policy cannot be applied, procedures and necessary conditions to apply the policy. Kosmos Vietnam is distributing 3 lines of Kosmos wooden floors: yellow core wooden floors (5-year quality warranty), green core wooden floors (7-year quality warranty) and herringbone wooden floors (7-year quality warranty).

When to apply Kosmos wooden floor warranty policy
- Customers install and use Kosmos wooden floors for the correct purposes, standards and recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Kosmos wooden floors warp, shrink, and fade under normal use conditions.
- Damage to Kosmos wooden floors must be visible to the naked eye.
- The purchase receipt or warranty card for Kosmos wooden floors must be intact (not crumpled, patched, erased or repaired).
- Kosmos wooden floor is still under warranty.
- Kosmos wooden flooring is an interior product - flooring application.
Cases where Kosmos wooden floor warranty policy is not applicable
- Customers do not install and use Kosmos wooden floors for the correct purposes, standards and recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Kosmos wooden floor is damaged due to fault from the side construction units and customers, for example:
– Shrinkage and warping due to flooding.
– Warping due to not leaving expansion space, causing wall irritation.
– Color fades when exposed to direct sunlight (UV rays) for too long. - The damage to Kosmos wooden floors is not visible to the naked eye.
- The Kosmos wooden floor purchase receipt or warranty card is no longer intact (crumpled, patched, erased or repaired).
- Kosmos Laminate flooring is beyond warranty.
- Kosmos wooden floors are interior products – not for outdoor installation.
- Wear and tear of Kosmos wooden floors during use.
- Kosmos wooden floors are damaged due to force majeure (natural disasters, fires, etc.).
- Kosmos wooden floor is damaged due to customer's unauthorized disassembly and relocation of the product.
- Kosmos Laminate flooring does not cover flooding.
- Kosmos wooden floors do not warrant termites.
- Kosmos wooden floor has gaps and gaps due to flooding.
- Customer does not properly maintain/care for Kosmos wooden floors.
Recommendations for construction/installation of Kosmos wooden floors
A. Before installing Kosmos wooden floor
- To adapt Kosmos wooden flooring to the construction site, we must open the box at the construction site 48 hours before installation.
- The ground surface is flat, the difference is not more than 2mm/1.000mm (1m).
B. During the construction of Kosmos wooden floor
- Leave a gap of 15 – 18mm between Kosmos yellow core wooden floor and the wall.
- Leave a gap of 12 – 15mm between Kosmos green core/herringbone wooden floor and the wall.
- Foam floor panels must not be stacked on top of each other.
- Install Kosmos wooden floor panels in the correct position and direction.
- The first row of Kosmos laminate flooring must be straight and level. Install the two rows staggered with a minimum offset of 200mm.
- Kosmos wooden floor locking grooves must be tightly fitted to avoid groove running.
- Do not use an iron hammer to tap directly on the wort and make sure the pad does not damage the wort.
- Do not use glue because Kosmos laminate flooring has expansion properties.
- Use disconnecting/connecting braces to divide areas with length and width > 7.000mm (7m).
C. After installing Kosmos wooden floor
- Do not drag heavy, sharp or pointed objects across Kosmos wooden floors.
- Do not use sharp objects to clean Kosmos wooden floors.
- Only use very small amounts of diluted detergents to clean Kosmos wood floors.
- Use a damp, wrung-out cloth to clean Kosmos wooden floors, do not pour water directly.
- Do not let rainwater splash/flood into the house.
- Suitable temperature for Kosmos wooden floor is not more than 50°C, should not be placed near high heat sources (eg: coal stove, gas stove, ...).
- Proper maintenance to increase the life of Kosmos wooden floors.
