Safety warning for ASA coated plastic panels

1. BEFORE CONSTRUCTION

It is necessary to ensure drainage capacity for ASA plastic panels to avoid flooding.

Wall/ceiling surfaces must be solid, flat, and free of peeling or cracking.

Store ASA plastic cladding panels in their cardboard boxes in a shaded area at a temperature below 35℃.

Do not remove the packaging before use.
2. DURING CONSTRUCTION
Skeleton Warning

Use stainless steel or galvanized square steel bars with dimensions ≥25x25mm and thickness ≥1,2mm

Distance between bars ≤30cm

The distance between the two double ribs is 5mm.

The frame needs to leave a gap of 7 - 10mm from the wall/ceiling.

Vertical panels with horizontal bars and horizontal panels with vertical bars

Ceiling frame with slight outward slope of 2-3%

Required distance between ASA plastic ceiling and poly, glass, and corrugated iron roof is from 30 - 50cm

Between the ASA plastic ceiling and the poly, glass, or corrugated iron roof, it is required to install an additional layer of insulation material (for example: 5mm or more silver foam, corrugated iron, plastic foam).

Welds need to be smoothed and painted with anti-rust paint.
Warning about ASA plastic panels

Fix ASA G-5S190X20, G-OP112X16 plastic panels onto the frame using brackets and stainless steel screws

Fix the ASA G-4S219X25 plastic panel by screwing it into the recessed groove.

The distance between the 2 ASA panel connectors at the double rib is 5mm.

Panels are about 7 - 10mm from walls and ceilings.

If the last panel is cut, it is necessary to reinforce another piece of wood on the frame to screw the panel together with the wood and frame.
Warning about V-shaped brackets covering ASA plastic panels and skeletons

The V-bracket needs to be cut at a 45° angle at the right angle joint.

Use glue and stainless steel screws with umbrella head and tail to fix the V-shaped strip.

Use glue and nail gun with copper nails to fix the V-shaped strip.
Warning about copper screws and nails

Always pre-drill before screwing stainless steel.

Material: 304 stainless steel screw

The distance between screw holes when shooting on the panel is equal to the distance between the ribs ≤30cm

The distance between screw holes when fixing the V-shaped trim to the ASA-coated plastic panel should be ≤30cm.

The spacing between nail holes when fixing the V-shaped trim to the 2-layer ASA-coated plastic panel should be ≤10cm.
3. AFTER CONSTRUCTION

For fresh stains, use a mild detergent (pH 5 – 8)

For stubborn, old stains, you can use products such as alcohol, kerosene, white wine or bleach diluted to five percent (5%).

Do not use sharp objects to clean stains on ASA plastic panels.

Periodically every 3-6 months, check if the screws are loose or the frame is rusty. If so, notify the contractor.
