Safety warning for 1-layer wood plastic slats (box slats)
A. Before constructing 1-layer wood plastic box slats
- It is necessary to ensure drainage for wood plastic slats to avoid waterlogging.
- Anti-rust paint is required on the stainless steel or galvanized steel frame joints.
B. During construction of 1-layer box slats
Safety warning about skeleton
- The frame construction material is stainless steel box bars or galvanized steel box bars.
- The length or width of the skeleton must not exceed 3m (≤3m).
- Two bone bars are no more than 1m apart (≤1m).

Safety warning when installing slats
When constructing 1-layer wood-plastic slats, it is required to insert a stainless steel box bar or galvanized steel box bar with a size suitable for the wood-plastic slat cage.
| Wood plastic code | Corresponding size of galvanized square iron bar with slat core threaded through |
| LAM35X35 | 20 x 20mm |
| LAM50X50 | 35 x 35mm |
| LAM60X40 | 25 x 25mm or 20 x 40mm |
| LAM80X40 | 25 x 50mm |
| L105X50 | 30 x 30mm |
| LAM160X80 | 50 x 100mm |
- Iron brackets are used to connect the slats and stainless steel bars or square steel bars inside the slats. (Kosmos recommends not to directly shoot screws to fix the box and iron core).

- Iron plate used to connect box slats and skeleton
The ends of the slats when in contact with the frame need to leave a gap of 5mm (slats ≤1,5m) 8mm (slats 1,5 - 3m).
There should be a gap between the slat and other obstacles (walls, corners, etc.). If the slat is <1,5m, the gap should be 5mm, if the slat is from 1,5m – 3m, the gap should be 8mm.
When joining the slats, do not use glue directly. Instead, attach the two ends of the slats to the double or large track. If the frame is on the wall, the two connecting points do not need to be on the double track. Keep a distance of 2mm between the two ends of the slats.

C. After constructing 1 layer of wood plastic slats
- Use only diluted detergents to clean the product.
- For fresh stains, use a mild detergent (pH 5 – 8).
- For stubborn, old stains, you can use products such as alcohol, kerosene, white wine or bleach diluted to five percent (5%).
- Do not use sharp objects to clean stains on plastic wood.
- Proper maintenance increases product life.
- Periodically every 3-6 months, check for loose screws and rust on the frame. If so, notify the contractor.
