Safety warning for installation of flexible stone cladding panels.

1. Before installing flexible stone cladding panels

The application surface must be firm, level, dry, free of oil, grease, and dirt.

Alkali-resistant primer is mandatory for new wall and ceiling surfaces.

Peeling paint/cracked tiles need to be removed from old wall and ceiling surfaces.

Waterproofing treatment is required for construction areas with high humidity.

Ceiling construction should be done on a rigid gypsum board (Calcium Silicate) or plywood subfloor.

The optimal working temperature is between 5°C and 35°C.
2. During the installation of flexible stone cladding panels.
Warning about adhesives

It is advisable to choose adhesives with low or no alkalinity to avoid the "salt leaching" phenomenon.

Use neutral construction adhesive for interior areas.

Use specialized tile adhesive for exterior areas.

For small sizes (under 600x300mm), apply adhesive to the installation surface or the back of the panel.

For large sizes (over 600x300mm), apply adhesive to both the installation surface and the back of the panel.
Warning about flexible stone cladding panels.

A gap of 1,5–3 mm should be left between the panels to allow for thermal expansion and contraction.

Only apply grout after at least 24 hours have passed since bonding.

It's advisable to use a nail gun to temporarily secure the panel to prevent sagging while waiting for the adhesive to dry.

Always use a pressure gauge during the first 15-20 minutes (while the glue is still wet) to make any necessary adjustments.

Avoid installing overly thick and heavy panels on the ceiling.

For raised-edge surfaces, use a soft rubber squeegee to press into the grooves to ensure 100% adhesive coverage.
Warning regarding handling specific locations.

For positive angles, miter cut (edge grinding) to ensure a tight fit.

With a negative angle, the circuit trace should be set back at least 2,5cm from the corner.

For curved edges, use a hairdryer or hot air gun to gently heat the back of the panel to increase flexibility before installation.

For surfaces with attached letters or signs, when drilling holes to attach the letter bases to the panel, use a metal drill bit and drill slowly to avoid tearing the flexible stone layer.
3. After installation of flexible stone cladding panels

Avoid stepping on, pouring water on, or vibrating the construction site for the first 48 hours after completion.

Wait 3-7 days (until the glue is completely dry) before proceeding with the next decorating steps.

Avoid contact with hard or sharp objects.

For fresh stains, use a mild detergent.
