Instructions for constructing a single room with a door using a 2-sided plastic partition (right angle joining technique)

2-sided plastic partitions are not only used as partitions between rooms. but can also be built into a separate room with a door.

Instructions for building a single room using 2-sided plastic partitions

When installing 2-sided plastic partitions to build single rooms, the treatment of the base of the partition at right angles is a technique that determines the completion of the project. All right angles must be beveled exactly 45 degrees to ensure aesthetics and durability.

Video instructions for installing right angle Galawood partitions:

Step 1: Measure and cut the base of the partition

Determine the length to cut based on the room size. At the right angle wall base position, cut the 2 ends of the wall base at a 1 degree angle.

Step 2: Drill a primer into the base of the partition wall

Pre-drill the base of the partition wall first so that the screwing process does not damage the base of the partition wall. The distance between the drilled holes is 40cm.

Step 3: Mark the holes on the wall/ceiling/floor

Precisely position the partition base in the installation position, then use a marker to transfer the pilot holes from the base to the wall, ceiling or floor surface, ensuring absolute accuracy for the structural fixing process.

Step 4: Drill holes in the wall/ceiling/floor to catch the hatchlings

1. Fix the anchor (iron anchor, expansion anchor) to the wall/ceiling/floor

Step 5: Fix the partition legs to the wall/ceiling/floor

1. Apply glue to the position where the wall foot needs to be installed.

2. Place the wall foot in the glued area, adjust to fit the drilled hole.

3. Tighten the bolt/screw into the expansion joint using a 12mm wide straight spacer.

Step 6: Join the wall legs at the right angle between the wall and the floor

Apply glue to the cut surface before joining the two ends of the wall legs together. Secure the joint with a nail gun.
