Instructions for constructing bamboo charcoal ceiling panels

The process of installing bamboo charcoal ceiling panels includes 6 steps.

Step 1: Prepare materials and construction tools

We need to prepare a quantity of materials along with construction tools and machinery:

• Supplies: Bamboo charcoal panels and decorative braces (if any), multi-purpose glue (acid-free glue).
• Machines: Cutting machines, drilling machines, screwdrivers,...
• Tool: Black tape, hammer, ruler, pen, folding ladder,...

Step 2: Install the skeleton

Bamboo charcoal ceiling construction requires the use of a skeleton system, the distance between the skeletons is not greater than 50cm.

Step 3: Install the padding into the frame

The cushion layer must be completely flat with a difference of no more than 2mm/1m. The material used to make the cushion layer can be plastic foam sheets, cement sheets, etc.

Step 4: Apply the bamboo charcoal sheet to the cushion layer

Follow these steps to install bamboo charcoal panels:

1. Apply black tape to the back of the bamboo charcoal panel.
2. Apply specialized glue to the back of the panel and spread evenly.
3. Stick the bamboo charcoal sheet directly onto the surface of the cushion layer fixed in step 3.

Note: 

• Avoid squeezing the glue too much, forming large glue clusters that will affect the flatness of the front panel.
• The glue used for bamboo charcoal panels must be neutral glue, do not use acid glue.
• Depending on the area, 1 bottle of Kosmos multi-purpose glue with a capacity of 300ml can be used for 2m² - 3m².

Step 5: Use ceiling fixing tools

After installing a bamboo charcoal panel, we will use a tree to support the ceiling of that panel. The required support time is 24 hours to ensure stability.

Step 6: Apply decorative braces

1. Measure and cut the brace to the appropriate size for the location to be installed.
2. Use glue or screws to install the brace.
3. Continue installation until complete.

Note:

• After finishing covering a bamboo charcoal panel, we will attach a decorative brace to it before continuing to cover the next panel. Just like that, we will repeat the process of "laying panels - attaching braces" until the entire project is completed.
• With types splint, U led brace We will install it after completing the project.

After completing the installation process of bamboo charcoal ceiling panels, we need to check the joint positions of the bamboo charcoal panels. At the same time, check the edges and corners for excess glue. This factor will help the finished project ensure aesthetics as well as increase durability when used.
