What is the purpose of the DC80A-D black aluminum baseboard end cap?
The DC80A-D left end clip is a specialized accessory used to seal the left end of the black CT80-D aluminum baseboard. This accessory solves the problem of exposed aluminum edges revealing rough cuts when the baseboard stops at a point – for example, the edge of a door frame, the edge of a built-in cabinet, or where it meets other materials – by creating a smooth, safe, and color-matched curved edge.

What is the DC80A-D left end pin used for?
DC80A-D It acts as a "cover" for the left end of the CT80-D aluminum baseboard, with the following specific functions:
- Sealing the aluminum cross-section: When cutting the wool strip to the actual length, the cut end reveals the rough cross-section of the 1mm aluminum core – the DC80A-D pin completely covers it, creating an aesthetically pleasing curved edge.
- Security: The aluminum cutting edges can be sharp – the end pins eliminate the risk of cuts when cleaning or moving furniture.
- Protection against dust and moisture ingress: The exposed end is where dust and water can easily get into the gap between the skirting board and the wall – the fasteners provide a completely sealed closure.

When should you use the DC80A-D accessory and when shouldn't you?
Required:
- The rod stops in the middle of the wall (without meeting any corners or connecting to other rods).
- Len paused at the door frame, the built-in wardrobe, and the floor-to-ceiling window sill.
- A wall that ends abruptly (a room divider wall).
Not needed:
- The yarn end meets the inner corner → use GTC80-D inner corner pin.
- The yarn ends meet the outer corner → use GNC80-D outer corner pin.
- The end of the yarn is connected to another rod → use NC80-D connector.
