Installation guide for round fluted wood-plastic composite wall panels with 2-layer ASA coating.
Round wave-shaped slats made of double-layered ASA-coated wood-plastic composite. (3ST195X30) When installing wall cladding, there are two main scenarios:
- Vertical wall cladding, horizontal bar installation
- Horizontal wall cladding, vertical rail installation.

Round wave-shaped ASA-coated wood-plastic composite panels weigh 5kg/panel (195x30x3000mm). When installing exterior wall cladding, they must be constructed on a frame structure with a spacing of ≤30cm between the panels. The ASA wood-plastic composite wall cladding frame is made from stainless steel or galvanized steel bars with dimensions ≥25x25mm and a thickness ≥1,2mm.

Step 1: Prepare materials and tools for installing the ASA wood-plastic round fluted panel wall cladding.
Supplies
To install round fluted ASA wall panels, you will need the following 8 materials:
- Skeleton bars (stainless steel, galvanized steel) size ≥25x25mm and thickness ≥1,2mm
- Round wave-shaped slats made of double-layered ASA-coated wood-plastic composite. (3ST195X30)
- ASA wood plastic V-shaped strip (V35X45)
- Iron anchor
- Stainless steel screw with pee tail
- Ke
- Copper nail
- Kosmos exterior glue.

Tool
Here are 7 tools you need to prepare for installing 2-layer ASA-coated round fluted wood-plastic panels for wall cladding:
- Angle cutter, drill, welding machine, laser machine
- Angle ruler, measuring tape
- Nail gun.

Step 2: Create a joint between the wall and the frame using iron anchors
The process of creating a joint between the wall and the frame using iron anchors includes 3 steps:
- Using a drill, drill into the wall of the house.
- Insert iron plugs into drilled holes
- Tighten the anchor bolts until the connections are secure and fully restored.
| Vertical wall cladding Using a drill, drill into the wall, requiring distance between holes. ≤30cm vertically and ≤50cm horizontally. At the locations where the double crossbars are installed, holes need to be drilled at intervals. 5mm vertically. | Horizontal wall cladding Using a drill, drill into the wall, requiring distance between holes. ≤30cm horizontally and ≤50cm vertically. At the locations where the double crossbars are installed, holes need to be drilled at intervals. 5mm horizontally. |
4 common types of iron anchors: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm, corresponding to 4 types of drill bits: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
Step 3: Build the skeleton

(The welded area needs to be sanded smooth and painted with anti-rust paint. | Horizontal wall cladding Using a welding machine, weld the bone bar firmly according to vertical into the iron plugs already on the wall, the distance between the bars ≤ 30cm verticallysystem. ** Kosmos recommends:
- Frame material: Stainless steel bar or galvanized steel bar with size ≥25x25mm, thickness ≥1,2mm.
- The frame needs to have a gap of 7-10mm between it and the wall to install the ASA wood-plastic V-shaped trim, and this is also a safe distance for the frame and the 2-layer ASA-coated fluted round wood-plastic panels to expand.
- At the position where the 2 panels are joined, a double rib must be installed. The distance between the 2 double ribs is 5mm.
Step 4: Install the ASA wood-plastic round fluted panels onto the frame.
The ASA wood-plastic composite panel with rounded wave profile at Kosmos Vietnam has the code: 3ST195X30 requirements when constructing ke.

1. Apply Kosmos exterior adhesive to the frame before installing the cladding panels.
2. Install the first round fluted wood-plastic panel with tongue and groove joint.
a. Vertical tiling: Install the first round ASA fluted panel with the male groove facing the wall vertically, with the female groove facing outwards (install the fluted panel from left to right or right to left depending on the installer).

b. Horizontal cladding: Install the ASA wood-plastic composite fluted panel with the male groove facing the ground horizontally and the female groove facing upwards (install the fluted panel from bottom to top).

3. Attach ke The specialized groove is then fixed to the support beam with stainless steel screws at the joint (the distance between the screw holes is equal to the distance between the support beams).≤ 30cm).
4. Continue applying Kosmos exterior adhesive to the frame to install the second cladding panel.
5. Install the male groove of the second panel into the screwed negative groove of the first panel.
6. Attach the bracket to the groove of the second panel and secure it with stainless steel screws at the bracket.
7. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 for each panel until almost the entire wall is covered.
8. Measure, cut, and secure the final panel to fit the frame.
Kosmos recommends
At the joint, the panels should be placed on double support beams, with a distance of 5mm between the two double support beams and a distance of 5mm between the two ends of the 2-layer ASA-coated round fluted wood-plastic panel.
** Kosmos recommends:
- Pre-drilling is required before screwing the screws into the tongue and groove fixing brackets of the ASA wood-plastic round fluted panel.
- At the position where the panels need to be joined, the joint must be placed on the rib. If the rib is not large enough to fix both ends at the same time, it is necessary to install 2 ribs close together, each rib is 2mm apart and 5 ASA fluted panels connected together are also 2mm apart.
Step 5: Cover the edges of the round fluted ASA panels with V-shaped trim to complete the process.
Cover the exposed edges of the round fluted panels with ASA wood-plastic V-shaped trim (V35X45). Please note that at right angles, the V-shaped trim needs to be cut at a 45° angle.
There are 2 ways to fix the wood plastic V-shaped strip onto the fluted panel and the crossbar.
Option 1: Use adhesive and stainless steel flat-head screws, with the screw holes spaced ≤350mm apart.

Horizontal wall cladding
Option 2: Use glue and a nail gun with brass strip nails, spacing the nail holes ≤ 100mm.
