Instructions for installing V-shaped insulated aluminum roofs (roofs with ridges)

Properly constructing a V-shaped (sloped) insulated aluminum roof not only ensures the roof's stability and minimizes vibration in strong winds, but also optimizes thermal insulation, soundproofing, and water drainage for the building.

This guide will help customers understand the basic construction process, from material preparation and measurement to frame installation, roof panel fixing, joint treatment, and finishing.

Step 2: Install the gutter

Construction of gutters includes 5 steps It's as simple as this:

1. Apply Kosmos exterior sealant to the frame at the location where the gutter will be installed.

Kosmos recommends:

When a long roof needs to be joined, the installer will use a connecting bar to join two roofing panels. At the joining point, apply adhesive to the connecting bar on both sides. Then, push the connecting bar into the edge of the roofing panel already fixed to the frame, and then install the next roofing panel onto the remaining part of the connecting bar, aligning it tightly to complete the joint.
