Instructions for installing fluted stainless steel panels onto a frame.
For uneven, damp, or weak walls, fluted stainless steel panels should be installed onto a frame. Installing them onto a frame helps create a flatter and more stable surface after installation.

Here are 8 steps for installing fluted stainless steel panels onto a frame.
Step 1: Prepare materials and tools for installing fluted panels on the frame.
8 tools for installing fluted stainless steel panels on a frame.
- The handheld cutting machine uses a stainless steel blade.
- Protective gloves
- Laser measuring machine
- Tape measure
- Angle ruler
- Drill
- Welder
- Marker pen

8 construction materials for fluted stainless steel panels on a frame.
- Stainless steel fluted panel
- Stainless steel V brace
- Construction adhesive
- Stainless steel bar, galvanized steel
- Iron anchor
- Cushioning panels (foam panels, lightweight cement panels, interior paneling)
- Screw head and tail
- Paper masking tape

Step 2: Erect the frame for installing the stainless steel fluted panel cladding.
The worker erects a stainless steel or galvanized steel frame onto the wall, with a spacing of ≤35cm between the frame members to ensure the rigidity of the panel during installation.
Note: There must be support bars at the top and bottom ends of the fluted stainless steel panel. These are the points where the panel is fixed to the support frame using stainless steel screws.

Step 3: Install the mattress pad onto the frame to create a flat surface.
After constructing the frame, the worker secures the padding (plastic foam or cement board) to the frame using flat-headed stainless steel screws. The padding is used to create a flat surface before attaching the stainless steel board.

Note: It is mandatory to use flat-head screws to secure the mattress to the frame.
- The flat end allows for countersunk screws to be inserted into the gasket, avoiding damage to the stainless steel cladding.
- The tail end is used to fasten the screw securely to a rigid frame such as galvanized steel or stainless steel.
Step 4: Measure and cut the fluted stainless steel panel before installing it onto the frame.
The technician measures the area where the panel needs to be installed, then cuts the panel to the actual size.
Note: During cutting and installation, workers should wear protective gloves because the edges of the stainless steel sheets are quite sharp; handling them directly can easily cause cuts.

Step 5: Drill pilot holes into the ultrasonic waves at both the top and bottom ends of the stainless steel panel.
We drill pilot holes in the fluted stainless steel panel, one hole on the top and one hole on the bottom.

Step 6: Peel off the protective film around the edges of the panel.
We need to tear off the protective film around the edges for easier application and removal afterward.

Step 7: Mark the drill holes on the pad.
We place the pre-drilled fluted panel in the desired position, using a pen to mark the drilled holes on the pad where the support rods will be located.

Step 8: Drill pilot holes in the support beam at the locations where the stainless steel fluted panel will be fixed with screws.
Drill holes in the bone rod at the marked locations.

Step 9: Apply glue and attach the fluted stainless steel panel to the frame.
- The worker applied double-sided tape to the mattress to temporarily hold it in place while waiting for the glue to dry.
- Apply construction adhesive evenly to the back of the stainless steel sheet and the backing pad.
- Attach the stainless steel plate to the base plate, aligning it straight and pressing it evenly. The male groove should face inward, and the female groove should face outward.

Step 10: Secure the stainless steel panel to the frame using stainless steel screws.
At the pre-drilled holes, we screw the fluted stainless steel panel onto the frame.

Step 11: Install the next stainless steel plate following the tongue-and-groove joint.
Install the next stainless steel plate, aligning the male groove with the female groove. Complete all steps: pre-drill pilot holes in the plate, mark the drill holes on the spacer plate, pre-drill pilot holes in the support frame, apply adhesive, and secure the plate with stainless steel screws.

Step 12: Remove the protective film from the surface of the stainless steel panel.
Once the panel is securely fixed, the technician proceeds to remove the protective film from the stainless steel surface.
Note: Do not remove the protective film during installation to avoid scratching the panel surface.

Step 13: Install the V-shaped edge trim to cover the fluted stainless steel panel on the frame.
Finally, the worker attaches V-shaped stainless steel trim strips to the edges to cover the panel edges, making the cladding look more complete and aesthetically pleasing.

Installing fluted stainless steel panels onto a frame is a method that helps create a straighter and more secure cladding surface, especially suitable for uneven or damp walls. If the wall already meets the requirements, you can refer to the method of installing stainless steel panels directly onto the wall.
