Instructions for installing fluted stainless steel panels directly onto the wall.

Stainless steel fluted panels are a commonly used material for decorative wall cladding in living rooms, TV walls, showrooms, reception areas, cafes, or accent walls. For walls that are already flat, installers can directly glue the stainless steel fluted panels onto the wall without needing a frame.

Step 2: Inspect and treat the wall surface covered with stainless steel fluted panels.

Before starting construction, the worker needs to check the flatness of the wall. The wall surface must be relatively flat and dry, with a surface difference of no more than 2mm per meter.

Step 3: Measure and cut the fluted stainless steel panel.

The worker measures the area to be clad, then cuts the fluted stainless steel panel to the actual dimensions of each location.

Note: During the cutting and installation process, workers should wear protective gloves because the edges of the stainless steel sheets are quite sharp, and handling them directly can easily cause cuts.

Step 4: Drill pilot holes into the ultrasonic waves at both the top and bottom ends of the stainless steel fluted panel.

We drill pilot holes in the acoustic panel, one hole on top and one hole on the bottom.

Step 6: Mark the drill holes on the wall.

We place the pre-drilled fluted panel in the desired installation position and mark the drill holes in the wall with a pen.

Step 8: Apply adhesive and stick the fluted stainless steel panel to the wall.

  1. Apply construction adhesive evenly to the back of the panel and to the wall surface.
  2. Attach the panel to the wall, aligning and pressing the surface evenly. The male groove should face inward, and the female groove should face outward.

Step 12: Install the V-shaped edge trim to cover the fluted stainless steel panel on the wall.

At the edges or corners of the panels, installers can use V-shaped stainless steel trim to cover the edges. These trims are usually glued with construction adhesive, which helps conceal the edges while giving the wall a neater and more finished look.
