Instructions for installing 5-wave ASA plastic ceiling panels.
Install the 5-wave ASA plastic ceiling louvers (code G-5S190X20) by securing the tongue and groove joints with stainless steel brackets and screws. The panels are connected to each other via tongue and groove joints on the panel edges.
The ASA G-5S190X20 plastic wave louvers weigh 3,45kg/piece, making them lightweight, but they still require a frame structure for installation on the ceiling.
The frame structure for constructing ASA plastic fluted panels must meet the following four conditions:
- Durable material: Galvanized steel bars or stainless steel bars.
- Sturdy dimensions: Bar thickness ≥1,2mm, side length ≥25mm.
- Safe distance: Distance between bars ≤30cm.
- Construction in the correct direction: The support beams must be installed perpendicular to the direction of the panel installation. Specifically, for vertical panel installation, install horizontal support beams; for horizontal panel installation, install vertical support beams.

Step 1: Prepare tools and materials for installing ASA G-5S190X20 5-wave plastic ceiling panels.
The 8 essential materials needed when installing ASA G-5S190X20 5-wave plastic ceiling panels are:
- Reinforcing bar (material: stainless steel, galvanized steel; dimensions: side ≥25mm, thickness ≥1,2mm)
- 5-wave ASA plastic lamella (G-5S190X20)
- ASA plastic V-shaped trim (G-V45X45)
- Iron anchor
- Stainless steel flathead screws (using the flathead to securely fasten the screw to a rigid support beam)
- Copper nail
- Kosmos Exterior Glue
- Stainless steel kettle

The 7 essential tools needed when installing ASA G-5S190X20 fluted panel ceiling cladding are: angle grinder, drill, welding machine, laser level, tape measure, angle ruler, and nail gun.

Step 2: Insert the metal anchors into the ceiling, creating a connection between the ceiling and the frame supporting the ASA plastic fluted panel (G-5S190X20).
We need to create a connection between the ceiling and the frame supporting the ASA plastic panels using metal anchors. The specific steps are as follows:
- Drill holes in the wall using a drill.
- Insert the metal anchor into the drilled hole.
- Tighten the anchor bolts.
Metal anchor bolts are typically sized 6–12mm, and the drill bit should match the anchor bolt diameter.
The spacing between the anchors corresponds to the spacing of the reinforcing bars, for example:
| In the case where the bone is horizontal The distance between the two wall plugs width ≤30cm. The distance between the two wall plugs length ≤50cm. | Case where the bone is oriented VERTICALLY The distance between the two wall plugs length ≤30cm. The distance between the two wall plugs width ≤50cm. |
Note: For the installation of the double support beam (5mm spacing between the two beams), the required spacing between the two anchors is as follows: 5 mm.
Step 3: Erect the frame when installing 5-wave ASA plastic louvers for outdoor ceiling cladding.
To secure the frame to the ceiling, we weld the frame members to the metal anchors.
The frame for constructing 5-wave ASA plastic louvers for outdoor ceilings needs to meet the following 7 requirements:
- Made of stainless steel or galvanized steel bars.
- The dimensions of the bone strips are ≥25mm.
- Bone thickness ≥1,2mm.
- The spacing between the reinforcing bars should be ≤300mm (≤30cm).
- The spacing between the double bone bars is 5mm.
- The welded joints of the support beams need to be sanded smooth and coated with anti-rust paint.
- The gap between the frame and the wall is 7-10mm for installing the ASA plastic V-shaped trim.
- The ceiling frame has an outward slope of 2-3% (to prevent water accumulation).
Step 4: Install the 5-wave ASA plastic louvers (G-5S190X20) onto the ceiling frame.
Secure the 5-wave ASA plastic louvers (G-5S190X20) to the ceiling frame using Kosmos exterior adhesive, brackets, and stainless steel screws, specifically:
- Apply adhesive to the frame before installing the cladding panels.
- Place the fluted ASA panel (G-5S190X20) in the position where adhesive has been applied to the frame.
- Attach the brackets to the grooves of the fluted panel, and secure the panel to the frame by drilling screws into the holes in the brackets.
- Install a male tongue and groove joint to conceal the female tongue and groove joint of the ASA plastic panel.
Perform the process of securing the female and male tongue-and-groove joints continuously until the entire wall surface is covered. A gap of 7-10mm should be left at the end point against the wall for installing the V-shaped trim.

Step 5: Install the V-shaped trim to cover the edges of the ASA G-5S190X20 fluted plastic panel ceiling.
There are two ways to secure the V-shaped trim to the ASA G-5S190X20 fluted plastic panel ceiling installation:
- Secure the trim with adhesive and stainless steel screws (flip-top/fish-tail type), with the screw holes spaced ≤300mm (≤30cm).
- Secure the trim with adhesive and a nail gun, ensuring the nail holes are spaced ≤100mm (≤10cm) apart.
Note: When joining a V-shaped trim at a right angle, cut both ends of the trim at a 45-degree angle.

** Kosmos recommends
To ensure the durability and aesthetic appeal of ASA plastic ceilings and to prevent rainwater from seeping back in and causing mold, proper placement is necessary. chỉ ngắt nước during construction.
The only way to stop the water flow is to reinforce the embankment with mortar or other materials. Water cut-off strip/ridgeThis helps rainwater drain away, preventing it from accumulating or overflowing into the ceiling.

Note: The installation instructions for ASA G-5S190X20 5-wave plastic ceiling panels are for reference only. For the most suitable installation plan, a specific site survey and optimal solution are necessary.
In addition to ceiling panels, customers can also Wall cladding and facade decoration using G-5S190X20 fluted panel..
Proper installation of ASA 5-wave plastic ceiling panels will result in a beautiful, durable finish and a lifespan of 5-10 years. If you require further assistance, please contact us.
