3m plastic Laminate flooring: Benefits, collections, installation methods

Kosmos Vietnam has 2 lines of 3m plastic Laminate flooring: the regular line (no coating) and the 2-skin line (with an additional Polymer layer). Each Kosmos plastic Laminate flooring line will be designed differently and divided into 4 types:

• 2D square hole floor
• 3D square hole floor
• 3D round hole floor
• Round hole floor 2 leather

Whether 2.2m or 3m long, outdoor plastic Laminate flooring must be installed on a skeleton frame. Both have identical installation methods and need to follow the following important notes:

• The ground surface needs to have a slope for drainage of about 2 - 3%.
• The distance between the floor and the foundation must be greater than 30mm.
• The distance between two bones (beams) must be less than 2mm.
• The distance between floor and wall is greater than 15mm.
• The floor bar extension position needs to be placed on the bone bar.
• Use plastic dowels when working in wet outdoor areas.
• The distance between the two ends of the beam is 2mm.

How to install 3m outdoor plastic Laminate flooring?

To install outdoor plastic Laminate flooring, we need to treat the surface so that it has a slope of 2-3% for drainage. Before installing the floor, you need to install the frame, note:

• Minimum frame thickness is 30mm.
• Minimum distance between bars is 370mm.
• The distance between the two bone bar connectors is at least 2mm.

Next is to install the plastic wood floor onto the frame using plastic dowels and stainless steel screws. The floor bar needs to be placed perpendicular to the bone bar and note:

• Minimum distance between floor and wall is 15mm.
• The distance between floor bars when using plastic dowels is 6-8mm.
• The distance between the two floor bar connectors is at least 2mm.
