Steps to handle when the wooden floor is flooded
Laminate flooring brands that apply a flood warranty policy include: Egger Aqua (1000 hours), Robina Aqua (10 days), Thaixin (200 hours). As long as the wooden floor is not flooded for more than the allowed time, it can still be restored after applying the following steps:
B1 Call a technician to remove the floor from the flooded area.
B2 Dry the wooden floor within 5 days.
B3 Install the wooden floor back to the original position.
In the event that you have followed the above steps correctly and the board still has errors, Kosmos Vietnam will replace the faulty board in accordance with the warranty policy for you.
Note:
- The cost of dismantling the floor is about 40.000 VND/m2.
- Wood floors that are wet will have a case of warts on the surface. This is a normal phenomenon and will recover as soon as you use the blower to dry it for a while 5 day.

B1 Customers contact the Agent (Construction Unit) to discuss the problem of the project.
B2 Please present the invoice, purchase voucher or warranty card issued by the company.
B3 Dealers come to the site to check.
In case of construction errorThe dealer will be responsible for the warranty.In case of product failureAgents send photos/videos to Kosmos. From 3-5 days, Kosmos will send someone along with the agent to survey the status, exchange and issue a warranty document with a handling plan for you.

Instructions for using industrial wood floors
When using wooden floors provided and distributed by Kosmos Vietnam, please do not clean by pouring water directly on the floor. Instead, we will use a damp cloth to clean the surface.
Because it is a specialized product for interior, you should avoid letting rain water splash on the floor or face direct sunlight for too long in areas near windows and doors.
You can use a little more detergent diluted with water to clean stubborn stains. Note, we absolutely must not clean the floor with sharp objects such as brushes.
Supplier strictly prohibits the act of dragging heavy, sharp objects on the floor.
You should limit the installation of floors near areas exposed to high heat sources such as coal stoves, gas stoves, etc. Specifically, the temperature that wooden floors can receive must not exceed 50 degrees Celsius.
Notes when installing laminate flooring
The wooden floor needs to be brought to the construction site and removed from the box for 48 hours before installation.
For rooms with length > 10m then use splint to divide regions.
The distance from the wall to the floorboard is about 10mm - 15mm and will use splint F or skirting board / skirting board to cover the gap.
Flatness of the floor 2mm/ 1m.
When spreading the wooden floor foam board, we must not let the panels stack on top of each other.
To avoid running, then:
- The first row must be assembled straight and level.
- The locking joint between the floorboards must be made to fit tightly together.
To increase the tightness between the two floor bars, use a rubber hammer to knock on the edge of the board or use an iron hammer & spacer (do not knock directly).
Make sure the spacer does not damage the edge of the floorboard.
Do not fix laminate flooring with glue or nails.
